Located in the heart of West Chester, PA, LoCali proudly hosts a rotating Artist in Residence program that transforms our space into a living gallery featuring some of the region’s most exciting local artists. Whether you're joining us for Golden Hour, live music, or a relaxed evening with friends, you’ll experience original artwork that makes every visit feel new.

Our Artist in Residence program showcases painters, photographers, and mixed-media artists from West Chester and the surrounding local area, creating an immersive atmosphere rarely found in traditional wine bars.

❋ A Supportive Space

Unlike a traditional art gallery, LoCali Wine Lounge offers an approachable environment where guests can experience art alongside wine and live music, meet the artists, purchase pieces, and attend art-oriented events.

Each residency runs approximately 4 weeks, allowing LoCali guests to discover and connect with new artwork throughout the year while supporting the local creative community.

March (Tahirah Coleman)

  • Her work explores themes of growth, femininity, and renewal. She draws deep inspiration from the natural world, often turning to flowers as symbols of hope, vivid reminders that beauty can emerge even after the longest, coldest seasons.

April (Kevin Schramm)

  • As a singer/songwriter and photographer, he believes that music and photos are two sides of the same creative coin – and both are best when they can be shared experiences.

May (James McMenamin)

  • Known for unique visual collages and dramatic boldness, he has built a long-standing reputation as a man of integrity, a professional mural artist, and spiritual visionary that proudly creates art for the world to enjoy.

Meet the Artist 

Kevin Schramm

The Gracious is the singer/songwriter and photography project of Kevin Schramm who believes that music and photos are two sides of the same creative coin – and both are best when they can be shared experiences.

Musically, the ‘High Desert Sessions’ EP was released in March 2025. Recorded in Joshua Tree, CA, the songs lean toward alt-country and draw inspiration from the likes of Tom Petty, Wilco, Aimee Mann, and Beck. Click here to stream it.

In addition to ongoing photo and video work with Philly musicians and artists, 2026 projects include returning to Nashville, TN to photograph the '615 Indie Live' music festival and to perform at the SXSW 2026 music festival in Austin, TX.

Meet the Artist

James McMenamin

James McMenamin is a New Jersey based mural artist with over 18 years of experience and a 5-star rated Google Business, James loves creating large-scale public murals, graffiti lettering, and site specific public art.

For nearly 20 years, he painted freight trains under the alias of MECRO. While devoted to the craft year after year he was developing invaluable skills that inform his artistic style; skills that remain central to his mural art practice today.

James’ artwork can be found on interior or exterior walls, commercial buildings, and community spaces throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding region.

Known for unique visual collages and dramatic boldness, he has built a long-standing reputation as a man of integrity, a professional mural artist, and spiritual visionary that proudly creates art for the world to enjoy.

Tahirah Coleman

Tahirah is a West Chester native Oil Pastel artist whose work explores themes of growth, femininity, and renewal. She draws deep inspiration from the natural world, often turning to flowers as symbols of hope, vivid reminders that beauty can emerge even after the longest, coldest seasons. For her, each bloom reflects healing and the quiet power of transformation. Her art is a personal journey of reclaiming her femininity and embracing self-discovery through color, texture, & emotion. She believes art has the ability to restore and uplift, reminding us that growth is always possible, no matter where we’re planted.

Meet the Artist

John Gwinn

John Gwinn is a Pennsylvania contemporary realist painter who was born in 1936. He is known for his large-scale genre paintings, which often depict human relationships with intensity and passion, such as his "Love Struggle" exhibition at the Berman Museum in 2000. His work has been featured in both galleries and exhibitions, and has been sold at auction. His studio is located in Pottstown, PA.

In his 2012 YouTube series, he explained how his abstract paintings relate to and are inspired by music, especially the jazz of Charlie Parker. The two large pieces currently on display at LoCali are on loan from Cosmic Arts in Pottstown, PA.
